Potion sickness is listed as a debuff. Neither item causes potion sickness, only healing/stamina potions do that.
Poison resist is a staple of exploring the swamp. Tasty mead provides a very short super buff to stamina regen. Beware that 0 regen is still 0, so don't sprint/ump/bow to get the full effect.
