I think they should rebalance metals. You need lots of iron even when you get to the plains biome. The top armor uses iron. However, it doesn't get any easier to find. I think there should be iron ore veins in the plains that require an iron pickaxe to mine, to keep the progression as it is.
We could also do with a higher tier fire weapon.
