Banners are pretty special, and farming berries though it makes sense I think would deflate the meaning of banners, the meaning of tamed animals, and the overall meaning of berries, they arent a great food source, and can be tedious to grind if you didnt stockpile early on for taming but overall I disagree as far as berries, however new fruits and plant types to grow im all for!

Banners can also be made with coal anyway, which can be made via farmed trees or animals. So allowing berries to be farmed would just mean the red and blue banners would be farmable too now instead of just the black ones.
