Idk I think this conclusion might be related to your map seed, overall progression, how knowledgable/smart or willing to read the wiki you are and so on. I personally think that the difficulty rn is okay for most people but it may be too easy for the "hardcore survival" crowd, especially those who are using guides, tricks or videos to help them along. It also kind of depends on the goals you set for yourself. For example I put a priority on raising my stats asap and every death is considered to be a (major) setback. But for others it could be either farming resources or simply doing bosses. All of this requires to think in many variables and think that the average player isn't smart and therefor I don't think the game is "too easy". lol

Edit: Would be nice if you showed, arguments first of all and also how many hours you played and maybe screenshots and such so people know why exactly you think this game is easy.
