It handles all the Steam interaction, updates, backups, even modding if you want to do that.

You need to learn a bit about Docker, but it might actually be easier than figuring out how to install a Valheim server, and Learning about Docker might be more useful in the long run. You can probably find a Docker image for most any game server, and, of course, you can run all kinds of non-game software in Docker.
