Stone Golems were like Draugr Elites for me; once I killed about 80 of the blasted things, the game finally remembered they have a trophy and started dropping them like they're going out of fashion.

It took many hours, but now there are 2 trophies sitting in my base. My only advice would be to persevere and remind yourself that it may take a while, but at least you'll be able to make lots of windows when all's said and done!
