I have wolfpacks now surrounding the exterior of my base. Solo strays have come to my rescue in remote locations on my starting continent. The first time it happened was in a far, far away mountain biome, and at first I thought they were attacking me! Scared the carp outta me.
As Polonius correctly attests, "emenies will die". During "The Ground is Shaking" I saw a troll hit from the front & behind by 2 of my two star wolves, at the same moment. Two hits dead. It was so much fun to see, one of those gaming moments a person never forgets.
