I have been looking through the interwebs finding info about the development of this game, before i bought it and many times while playing it. And there is only some sales pictures and videos.

The Early access part of this game, is one of the worst i have seen in games, and i have been part of the development of many games.
If the game was not in a good state as is, and i did not trust a developer that i never had contact with. I might also not give it any praise.

However i like the game in its current state so far, so im positive about it. The early access development part is still terrrible though, i have no clue what is comming and when.

You haven't seen much then.

Conan Exiles is my go to for a bad EA.

That was a game that ran horribly and content that was said and advertised to be in the game than never was. Nor could it have been because of bad decisions made early in the development process. The game had massive flaws allowing regular cheating (to this day) flaws the resulted in dungeons being broken, player physics being broken, Combat being broken. Through out the game development the location spawns of different animals wildly changed. Difficulty changed. System and mechanics changed wildly. Bugs would be fixed only to reappear because the dev team was a revolving door and people would use old code.

This game has for 9 months been generally stable and playable.

This kind of game grabs me for a few 1 or 2 hundred hours at a time. I burn out and wait for a EA update and try again. Each time there is a EA update I get my initial moneys worth. This game has a high value for money ratio.

People give bad reviews because it is their way to show the devs what they think. It is the fastest way and one that isn't going to be instantly buried. Having a single thread of angry people that you can quickly dismiss isn't as helpful as EA reviews that show that people are upset. It is actually quantifiable.

I updated my review of Conan multiple times It moved from good to bad to good to bad.

It is a normal thing and it isn't something to get upset about and shout faux rage at.
