So yeah, after a half year we have an update and that's nice, i hear they also work on mistland which sounds like a pretty nice one. I already spent a few hundred hours on it so I can't wait for new content and I'm glad we're getting some.

I don't know what you all are expecting from a small team that suddenly became super rich. It is just normal that all their plans changed. Wouldn't it change your life too? It is nice that they love the game enough to finish it cause a lot of other people would have take the money and run and we've seen it before too...Chill and play something else while waiting...

So much

People who buy early access games need to realize that they are BUYING a PRODUCT that IS NOT FINISHED and the PRODUCT will REQUIRE TIME before it is FINISHED.

The amount of entitlement I see on game discussion after game discussion of early access releases is disgusting. For some reason a segment of the gaming population has decided that early access means finished product. This is even seen in the reviews for games. Honestly, Steam needs to separate the reviews of early access and full launch, but that is another discussion for another place.

Gamers need to realize, understand, and remember that game development takes time and resources. One of these resources are people which they, when added to a project, need time to be brought up to speed.

Now being just under a week away from the patch, I can say I am excited for it. It is more content, or rather something new for Valheim. I plan on enjoying the changes and if or when I become bored I will go play one of the other games I have (thank you Steam for a decade of summer sale purchases I have yet to play). If you need suggestions just go start playing demos of the various games out there and I bet you will find something new and worthy of your time until the next patch arrives for Valheim.
