Not the point and not everyone is prepared to handle an invasion via direct combat without defenses/walls. But hey, next time Fulings storm your outpost just run on out there and face-check the berserkers and shamans without being fully geared. Good times. Though it's true, you just need to die inside the red zone to end the event so perhaps your strategy has some merit.
