The simple answer to all your question is that the game is in early access so every single thing you mentioned is pound to be changed or updated.

1. I hold spears myself for the Aesthetic, makes the character look powerful haha. Other than that I read somewhere that there will be a combat update eventually in their road map.

2. Wolves are wolves... Very fast and deadly, they are faster than humans so surely you will lose your stamina and they won't.

3. If I were to guess, I'd say to keep the game hard and avoid spamming? If you were to knock back, the enemy will have to re-position back towards you in order to attack but you won't give the enemy the chance since you will keep knocking them back.

4. Hopefully the combat update could fix that but the game is punishing so I'd guess that is the current reason.

5. Wolves are wolves!

6. I hate that as well, hopefully they fix it at some point. They even spawn when building and it can get annoying dealing with them every few seconds.
