Lure a seeker or gjall to the base and then try and get them to attack you while you stand next to it. If you can get a seeker to fly to the roof with you, you can also get the dverger to shoot at it, which often will break the crate as well. The dverger won’t turn hostile unless you yourself break it, so you can snag the extractor needle and they’ll stay neutral toward you
