It seems like a really common use case, in particular for food, as you typically carry small part-stacks of 3 different food types.

Having to fiddle with the stack splitting slider every time is getting really old.

Short answer (after really reading what you typed ) : No there is not.
There might be a mod for it, but then you will have to browse Nexus for example.
