3. I don't leave the red circle other than to hunt down stragglers but I return to continue and finish the event.

The problem I'm having is after the event is over and the red circle on the minimap has gone, 1 min later I get another one. This doesn't happen all the time any more... I'm thinking it was bad rng and maybe just a fluke when they Happened.

On a side note, I'm finding regular mushrooms to be hard to find. Seems like all the other forest/meadow edibles are in abundance but mushrooms are far and few between.
Maybe this is just Bad RNG but maybe not. Probably should make a new thread... but I digress
Resources can be plentiful or lacking in any particular biome.
Personally I feel that adds to the individuality of even the same biome types.

One thing since H&H, now this may be RNG but a theory in progress, is that I tend to find more red mushrooms near the border of a mountain biome. Again it might just be the rng, but it is something I am currently watching for.

I can second your observation on Red Shrooms near mountains.

My other two Meadows bases had decent amounts for Meadows.. but my current base sits pretty close to the Mountains, and I have Shrooms all over the place; particularly plentiful amounts on the edge of the Mountains themselves.

Maybe.. 15-20 yards away from where snow begins.

Again, could just be RNG.. but I've also observed the same.

I kinda wish developers would toss in different versions of existing biomes.. examples being "Shady Meadows" (more trees == more mushrooms), "Barren Swamps" (less wet, more land-based threats and maybe Turnip seeds), etc.

Would be pretty interesting!
