Okay but like I already said in the OP, if the Serpent doesn't spawn close to shore, you can't really do that and will lose out on some of it's drops.

I'm all for the challenge in Valheim, but I feel like this is heavily reliant on luck. Like, they already have to be caught during certain weather and a certain time of day, but you also have to be lucky enough for one to spawn near shore too? I suppose the challenge could just be that the game deprives you of half your loot on this fairly elusive enemy.
