Inventory slots are just that, inventory slots, and in this game it seems they represent the 'whole' of what the player an carry on them in any fashion, be that worn, wielded or packed.

So what the OP wants it just another row of inventory added. Would it matter if it was off to the side or in some newly designed paper doll? The affect is the same; adding inventory slots.

No it's not the same. Have dedicated slots opens up space in ur inventory. Adding another row of slots wouldn't change this.

Example. If there was dedicated gear slots u would then free up these slots. Meaning u can pick up more items when ur not maxed on ur weight limit.

The weight of gear with dedicated slots can still count towards the total max carrying weight. Which gear already does but takes up usable space in the inventory.

Inventory grids like this are ment to show u what is in ur bag/inventory. Not what ur carrying over all.
