It's not like the game is hard, but it can be if you don't pay attention in certain situation. I see it is one of the reason why I like the game, but in these certain moments where I have this tiny human using me as climbing practice and doing sorts of stuff to get that attention...
I can relate with Paperhero, 1-2% would be more acceptable drop, since I also feel that the time used to get them ALL back to where it was is plain unnecessary retake on the system. The polished experience does not need to be revisited, but instead live on. To put straight, chop chop chop, run, swim, jump, smash n' bash n' block n' stash. plant, gather, build outposts, and so on... repeat couple times. While all trying to keep yourself rested and especially with materials gathering every round takes you farther in the map and is more time consuming.
I admit, it is so well executed that it is enjoyable, BUT why it needs to be made work? The reason why I play is to escape that particular phenomenon?
Maybe a "Skilldrop Upon Death"0-100% slider in game creation menu.....?
