I might got out of context but I mean, the team is trying their best to do their stuff and I heard they doing some cross platform atm (maybe, not sure) so that can be the problem why it took so long for not so much update.

Give them some time, very very big hit for a small Group is tough.

If they are spending time on crossplay they need to get their priorities straight. +90% of people playing this game does not care about crossplay.

Trying their best shouldnt be an excuse for lack of content. The game blew up which means they got a LOT of money up front. Money gives options to hire more people to speed things up.
Being a small team with a game that blew up is NOT an excuse. If anything this should raise expectations.
