A good example would be EpicLoot which is a fairly popular enchanted items and item drops mod that is quite amazing but the initial configuration is just completely nonsensical and makes legendary items drop like candy at some point. So you should be willing to do some tweaking and configuring to your tastes for things that are more complex.

Epic Loot was an awesome concept, but you get ridiculously overpowered items for the mobs the game actually provides. In the end it was only useful for the "featherfall" pants and the waterproof cloak. LOL

Anyhoozles, there are a couple of mods that add new critters to the game, I have seem them on youtube but Never downloaded them. (REALLY want to try the one with the horses though. My inner 12 year-old horse-mad self squeed when she saw that.)
