The original story from the starwars text run at drop in is that this area was part of the world tree and part of their world. Some other theories that made me start this discussion is that.
The rune stones are VERY Story written. I mean duh. But
Like its weird. There are ONLY five bosses we know of.
Eikthyr. The Elder. Bonemass. Moder and Yagluth.
BUT in the black forest one of the rune-stones say that There were SEVEN
That got banished here.
So The mistlands, Deep north and ashlands are the only Lands that do not have bosses.
So maybe a fire demon? a Frost Giant? Or a Massive spider?
Who knows. One thing i do know is that Yagluth is interesting in his "magic" type deal.
In one stage of the game it said that there was a chance of Levels and Magic being added
To valheim for the players to use. So does that mean its possible to Become a Forsaken?
It might mean that Yagluth was a Viking like us.
Reason why i say that is Bc His Voice says...
" This world... is ours... You struggle...
You endure... You bleed... all in vain... Odin cannot save you here... You trespass.. Northmen."
So it got me thinking. another rune says that Someone has been in the ruins. Dungeons
Burials and How the fulings were once advanced and that they challenged the gods.
and how they wonder where are the people that built these ruins? and if anyone came before them. So What if. hear me out.
Vikings were sent just like us. a long long time ago. and They Built Castles. houses.
Even underground cities. and even uncovered new metals like black iron.
And that they "Uncovered" a Dark secret or something that made them challenge the Gods? The ancient Wall writings in caves. The ruined houses. The Castles and Dungeons.
Were built and maybe even wiped out by the gods. as in a "No witnesses" from the gods.
and that Yagluth was one of them who was too strong so they Killed him
These bad guys <came along ?> and could not, or maybe Odin didn't want, to kill them. So he put them all on one branch of the world tree and cast it off into purgatory.
So the buildings etc were from when it was part of the "world"... as the enemies grew over time that is when Odin called us dead folk in to deal with it.
I guess our reward is being alive again at all?
