When you go adventuring you go adventuring not gathering and you reach nice spot,or location far from home ,simply make a provisional house for teleport . Teleport back home ,unload and you can carry on. The thing you asking for ,is nonsense for useless lazy crying kids. And when you gathering stuff around your base ,use the cart . Thats why it is there .
