You can use the two angled wood beams to protect things from rain damage, since these items appear to be classified as "roofs" so they don't take damage and will protect whatever is underneath it.
However, it doesn't work for the brazier or fires. Fire seems to go out from rain based upon whether it is classified as "sheltered" versus just covered by a roof piece.
Just an example of using the angled wood pieces. This structure suffers no rain damage and protects the non-roof pieces below it.

Oh, I know about how rain works and so on. I made these with careful experimentation to have stand alone outdoor fires.

These work even during the heavy rainstorms, which tend to have rain that falls at an angle, capable of putting out fires that are otherwise protected by a roof. You can literally place these anywhere, and with a bit of experimentation, integrate this into the wall of a simple house, counting as both fire and light while venting the smoke outward in whichever direction you face the sloped roof panel. Can even make it taller for buildings with higher roofs, though this design doesn't work for more than single floor buildings.
