You can also get really lucky I found a single herring in the swamps on land.. that herring allowed me to skip right to grouper.. 1 herring gave me 40 bait.. I stopped when I caught 10 groupers.. why? because that is 400 misty bait.. which is more.. actually WELL over more than enough to get all the angler fish you want. Angler fish are the easiest to see and catch also in my opinion.. I can go out usually they are in groups of 3-5.

In one hour I can get up to 20 or so.. well worth the time.

Also, more important than it being "just 5 stamina" it also last 5 minutes longer.. it IS the best stam food in the game. I find it extremely easy to acquire.

Even IF you didn't get lucky like I did.. you need exactly 1 perch, 1 troll fish to get 1 herring and be right where I was.
