There are a few basic functions that I can explain here easily in terms of making a workbench, hammer and repair.
Once you have that figured out very little is left to "learn" as most of the mechanics are similar and logical once you understand the flow.
Grind on the other hand is resource gathering either by picking up/ foraging or digging out mining. Having a new thing in your hand opens up what you can do with it. Crafting nails is the one thing you might skip that would be important... other than that you will pick up food you grow etc so things will flow along logically.
Not difficult to master and being in a rush is your biggest enemy in the long run.
