All games are like this, its incredibly difficult to find likeminded people that don't suck.
even when you think 'oh i found someone decent' and then drama still happens.
people are very fickle.
I find this to be even more true online, i can speculate why but id rather not.
Lets just say online people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird and it really depends on the game.
The more 'no-life/hardcore' the game is, higher chance of a weirder community.

I got my main game(myself, bit boring yes) and then a password protected server i go on that is based with a discord community.
they seem 'ok'.

So yeah idk, keep trying to find online buddies?
