Devs should provide an option to make lose all an opt-in until the core mechanic it is fixed.
Trivial to do and then that is handled.

While bugs are normal in early access, having a core mechanic broken is not okay, thats an alpha thing you fix before even considering going early access.

And sure there can be rare scenarios that are impossible to find out before a lot of people play, but this is an issue that has plagued the game for some time now, so it is stretching things a bit at this stage.

It is almost like they should have included some kinda of dev commands to fix these bugs yourself, oh wait..
