Well, thanks for letting me know. I was hoping other people would see an increase in performance as well. Maybe someone who has SSAO turned on can try this. As I said earlier, for me it has a dramatic impact... and I would assume a GTX1080 would be sufficient run this game on max settings. But SSAO and the shadows (to a lesser degree) seem to trip up the FPS.... not stuff that spawns in.
