I'm sorry, do you have a link indicating it was a bug? Based upon their system of furniture stacking, it seems likely that it was not a bug, but an arbitrary change that was given little thought to how it might impact players.

Yes, you're correct. It's an EA. It's the time when players are supposed to provide feed-back. Thus far, as a clinical psychologist, I've had to provide very little because I've been happy with the game changes. This change was not well thought out and destroys the value of prior progression, thus motivating me to provide feed-back. This is the only game I've ever gotten my wife to enjoy with me beside Disco Eylsium. Trust me, I've got a good reason to want folks to keep enjoying it.
