Frankly we have no idea how high we may need to be able to jump for the rest of the game that isn't made yet.

Asking for changes to a skill you wouldn't normally max out anyway half way through the game seems counter productive.

Just don't go out of your way to max jumping and you won't have an issue. Eat food to keep health up. Max fall damage is only 100.
