What I find especially noticeable with the various meads are that there are only seven of them (before one gets to the plains), they are grouped together, and that they are in alphabetic order according to their effect.

These are: Frost resistance;
Healing, medium;
Healing, minor;
Poison resistance;
Stamina, medium;
Stamina, minor; and
Tasty.

At seventy-two years of age I do not "need to specifically check all of them," I need only remember they are listed alphabetically by their effect.

As for "sorting by biome tier," the meaning of that phrase is not clear.
