Elder ? He is pretty easy, its a case of using the altars pillars to block his range attacks (the pillars are indestructable) , and either shooting him at range with a mix for fire and flint....or moving in and using a good (bronze upgraded) shield, and meleeing him.
Doesn't need a team.
