Yikes, hearth and home was considered a big update, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ICE CAVES was considered medium? Jesus christ..... [/quote]

They are not a big team/studio. Hopefully the sales allow them to expand.

I'd really enjoy faster updates/development but it is what it is, really just glad it is so enjoyable and playable while an alpha. So many 10s of millions wasted on so many 'big name' titles lately that were almost unplayable, this small team has produced a real gem.

They've seemed to indicate they don't want to have a large team. This isn't a triple A studio. They seem to want to keep it smaller to keep it sustainable. All too often studios grow rather large, make a game and then you see all manner of layoffs and other issues. Keeping it small(and as the dev said) keeps the revenue in a pool with which to keep the standard salaries going. And while they have sold as much as they have, the dev points out that steam takes a sizable chunk the publisher representing them another, and then all applicable taxes and other such things. Not to say they dont have a good set of money in the kitty, its just they're thinking long term versus short term I imagine. tortoise vs the hare approach if you will.
