There was an earlier thread posted where another viking said he was being hunted (the wolves raid/event0 while on his longship in the ocean. No wolves appeared. The same thing has happened to me. I passed it off as the wolves spawning on the ocean floor and being unable to swim up to the surface. The wolf raid/event can happen anywhere; the presence of three or more base structures is not required.

Yesterday, the wolf raid/event triggered while I was scouting a Fuling village on the Plains. I hopped up on a nearby boulder, invoked the Bonemass power, and prepared to meet the canine onslaught and the fulings drawn in by the ruckus.

Except for an occasional goblin giggle and the red circle appearing on the minimap, nothing. No wolves. No fulings. No lox. Not even a deathsquito.

Other normal raids have occurred since. Obviously, some other factor is in play.
