I like the idea of rain damaging the open structures but:
1) I wish it was gradual and not a sudden change.
2) I wish it looked more natural with some kind of tapering of fading effect towards the outside as compared to how abrupt it looks right now such as any tiles directly under the roof are completely fine and the next tile is damaged.
