They should have left health and stamina alone, and added 2 more stats to food items (ie Constitution and Integrity, or something like that), and the new stats affect offensive abilities (blocking, drawing the bow, etc), while leaving stamina for you farming tasks (mining, chopping trees, etc). It's just so frustrating that you can't actually DO anything without being stamina blocked and then dead.
