Which is, imho, quite odd to give plenty of mats and lock them behind random loot in the same biome.

I'm still starting out, but so far I've only found cores as loot in an underground area- the only one I've found is in the black forest.. The tin is in the meadows on shorelines, and the copper is also in the forest, on the surface.

I know very little about the game so far, and I'm finding enjoyable to just learn as I go. But you can wander for a LONG time looking for a resource without finding it. And I sure hope there's another way to find cores.
