You do realize we are talking a whole biome here. New creatures/plants/resources/environment etc. This is probably going to be the biggest update since the start.

i agree, considering tar pits were an entirely new mechanic i wouldnt be surprised if mistlands had some as well. imagine how much work went into the fluid mechanics.
