Yep, thats pretty standard. Considering they are the equivalent of little shacks in the woods, probably made by all the non player settlers that Odin dropped into the 10th world, but didn't last five minutes past their first greyling sighting; the buildings aren't too bad for a small first night shelter. And clearly, they didn't yet need to store a lot of stuff, or they'd have built more or better chests to accommodate. Either that or they didn't get the chance too.

Anyhow, not too hard for the player to destroy and replace with a superior quality 10 item chest; of course a bit more organization is required to have a full blown inventory system in closet design for all the loads of crap stuff the player tends to accumulate. Its amazing how fast a 10 slot, 50 stack chest of resin will fill up before you start to actually use it, if at all.
