I'm kind of less concerned about the cold-specks atm as I am for a pass on the mechanics of 'freezing'. For me it seems sometimes you end up with a freeze you can't 'shake' it takes several seconds more than it typically would, or does. It can vary for how long you stay in, and how long it was since you crossed into cold. How cold the cold is, how far you get from the cold when shaking off the effect. I feel like there are 3-4 factors deciding that fate if or when or how it gets applied.
Meaning if you run in to BF at the same elevation it sticks to you a bit longer, than if you run quickly downhill into something like a meadow area.
But even those situations and circumstances can get varied results when shaking the effect.
I don't get the notion that it's getting applied equally, in a buggish way. One of the factors is getting stuck figuring out what to do. How to vote.
