What aspects do you like about the combat?

I actually like that you don't have to key bind your jump into another key and blocking before rolling just helps you defend yourself if your roll is late with addition that blocking always faces at the camera you are facing but your character can run backwards/towards you when not blocking imo it's quiet good for none AAA title probably better than some flashy AAA games where combat is 2 dimensional it's just full of effects and flashy ♥♥♥♥.
In addition compared to other souls games of earlier the parry and blocking system of valheim is superior because in darksouls you get locked into an animation when you parry and you certainly aren't gonna hit multiple enemies with a riposte to be honest when you give it 5 min of your thoughts outside the animation valheims combat is up there in some of the best ones.
