One of the tops was when I slept in some shack that I had built previously, and subsequently sailed to another continent and died, so now I'm stuck in a shack in the middle of nowhere with out even pants on!

One of my main bases is in the mountains above me, but, of course, that is out of reach, so I just run through the night and evade everything that comes at me. Eventually I stumble across a boat that I had forgotten about and sailed to one of my bases, which reconnected me to my portal network.

Lol that's awesome. That's precisely why I play the way I do. You get into crazy situations! I still only have 1 portal goin and a lot of exploring to do.
