I do like how they set it up because then no house can be too big, I can imagine this would be a problem for multiplayer when one masochistic player wants to make a massive mansion with tons of rooms but nothing in the rooms, just a super-massive wooden box house. It would leave quite the scar on the world.

I am not looking to build huge buildings. But when I can't build a two story house out of regular wooden posts and beams there is something wrong, if they are going for any type of realism.
