another idea to move the tamed boar to your destination. it is a little bit - mh... - heartless. in case of a 2-star-boar the had hp enough to survive a hit with the lance you normally used for huting serpents.... i found a 2-star boar far away from my homebase and want it for my boar-farm. tamed on the far island i had the same problem like you - how to get the tamed stupid boar to my base? picked it up with the lance, move to my ship and sailed with the lanced boar to my base. after this heartless action i feeded it and could realized a 2star-boar-farm :-)
