That doesn't work. For example if you have a partial stack of cloud berries on your corpse and you picked a few on the way to your corpse and you grab your corpse the cloud berry stacks don't auto merge. You wind up with 2 partial stacks of cloud berries in your inventory. This applies to any duplicate items when you pick up your marker.
