I'm having good luck punching Necks to death...so far about 80% of the time, they drop meat.

I don't really need the meat at this point so only did a small sample size test (20 necks=16 meat and 1 trophy) so maybe I'm just getting good rng (for a change), but I'd be curious of the findings of others.
