Is there a way to stop players adding stuff to their inventory by using the console without banning them? I've put a server up to play with my friends, but two of them are always using the console to add themselves items. it just ruins the progress and the fun for the rest of the players.

Those aren't friends. If they can't stay within the norms of the majority, blacklist them.
