I think you need 10 roots, about 5(?) ancient bark and some deer skins to craft the
the root hasneck or root leggings. I forget how much you need for the mask but
if you have enough in your inventory the items should be at the top of the list
and craftable on a level 2 workbench. You have to kill a goodly number of root
monsters and upgrade your workbench to fully upgrade the root armor.
Each root monster drops 5 roots and 4 guck.
It takes awhile but those annoying root monsters respawn and you'll eventually
get all you need. you WANT the mask for the swamp as it gives you poison resist.
