It may be *a* way, it isn't the *only* way, and IMHO its a poorly chosen way, but that's an argument for elsewhere. FYI I'm a member on a number of discord servers, some for and by other Indy game devs, others for AAA games, and various others.. exactly *none* use that method for bot prevention and seldom have bot troubles as there are other, non invasive ways, to address the problem.
