no im pretty sure the damage is based on a combination of how long the log rolled for, and how fast, ive body blocked plenty of rolling logs that were about to crash into my beehives lol

this game has a lot of hidden ins and outs i noticed, like the whole Hoe mechanic where you can raise a ground platform with 1000 stone, or do it with just 100 if you figure out how lol, it doesnt make sense but it doesnt have to :P
