The devs built the game to be viking specific, albeit, with varying degrees of imagination. If you can provide historical data regarding viking ship designs, I'm sure they might consider drawing upon them for inspiration. As for small minded... I think wanting the devs to step outside of their goals and designs to entertain ideas outside their intended scope is small minded enough...
